Camlachie's Barrels connect

of the Forth & Clyde Canal. Jim Reilly with
HRH The Prince of Wales.
b) Prince Charles
performs the ceremony with Camlachie's barrel.
c) Jim Reilly and Prince Charles formally
pour water from the Clyde into the Forth to signify
the joining of the two halves of the canal.
d)"You have now successfully completed
the first module of our apprenticeship course,
your highness."
210 years after
the Canal was first opened, Camlachie Cooperage's
services were required in the ceremony re-opening
this waterway after a 40 year period of decay
and disuse.
